About the role
As a General Assistant at Clandon House, Dorchester, you will help ensure our house remains a comfortable and enjoyable place for residents to call home. You will contribute to the day-to-day running of the house, maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of communal and resident areas, and supporting our team in delivering a warm, welcoming environment.
Key duties
- Cleaning and maintaining communal areas and resident rooms to a high standard.
- Assisting with laundry, linen changes and general housekeeping duties.
- Supporting with meal service and light catering tasks as required.
- Ensuring health and safety standards are upheld throughout the house.
- Providing a friendly, respectful and supportive presence for our residents.
About you
- A caring and compassionate approach to supporting older people.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking with a positive attitude.
- Keen eye for detail and a high standard of personal presentation.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
